GIESEKING nominated as „best magazine printer“
Gieseking was nominated for the Druck+Medien Award 2008 in the category of “best magazine printer".
Previously Gieseking won an award at the prestigious “Innovationspreis der Druckindustrie“ (innovation award of the printing industry) in the category “corporate communication”. The award was presented in Frankfurt by Deutscher Drucker, Publishing Praxis, Grafische Palette, Versio! und PAGE. Several hundred printing companies from all over Germany applied in different categories for the award. The jury lauded the continuously varying formats and the diversity of pictures and illustrations which help the customer magazine “PingPong” to step out from the crowd. Other companies that have been awarded for the most innovative printing product were BMW, Porsche and Metro. Patron of the innovation award was the federal minister of economics and technology, Michael Glos.
The results reflect the appreciation of the accomplishments of Gieseking. “The fact, that independent juries rank us among the best printing companies strengthens our continuous effort to focus on creative printing products with high value for our customers,” says Thomas Gieseking, managing director of Gieseking.

Gieseking invests in a new XXL sheet-fed press by manroland. “With this new 7b-format machine we continue to pursue our strategy to invest in innovative technologies early on. The ones that profit most from this are our customers”, says Thomas Gieseking, managing director of GIESEKING.
